LOCAL ELECTIONS IN MAY 2023 - VOTER ID NOW REQUIRED

This year will see the introduction of Voter ID for elections in May. Follow the link to the Ashford Borough Council website for further information about the type of ID etc. Remember to register to vote - this can be done online. The deadline to register is 17th April.

123 Bus Service Survey

Smarden, Pluckley and Egerton are running a survey on residents' usage of the 123 bus service. Attached is a letter giving details and a link to the survey. Biddenden was not approached to join the survey, but you can still participate, but you will need to choose a parish, so it is suggested that you choose the nearest parish.

A delivery of drinking water has just been made to the High Street Car Park to help those with little or no water in the parish.

GLADMAN APPEAL - DECISION

Further to the Appeal Hearing held on 1 and 2 November 2022, the Planning Inspector has allowed the Appeal by Gladman to build 50 houses in Biddenden. The Decision document is attached.

CO-OPTION VACANCY
